Why Pesce PR? I’m a seasoned Public Relations professional who has worked in the PR industry for more than twelve years. In 2007, I left the PR world to create and launch an online cookie company (Gumdrop Cookie Shop), which I sold in 2010. The #1 reason I was able to sell my business? The brand recognition and revenue generated from my public relations efforts.
Before I launched my cookie company, my career included working at several full service public relations firms in Manhattan including Ketchum Public Relations, EURO RSCG Magnet, and, DeVries Public Relations. I’ve worked in many categories including food, beauty, fashion, toys, health care on brands such as Olay, Frito-Lay, Mattel, Tropicana and more.
However, once I entered the world of small business, I couldn’t look back! There is no denying the common thread of passion, creativity and collaboration among my fellow entrepreneurs. I started Pesce PR after hearing from small businesses that the existing PR options were beyond their budget and they needed affordable public relations options. I developed the DIY PR Pack as the solution to this problem. Pesce PR specializes in lifestyle clients in the food, beauty, wedding, children, design industry and more.
Having launched Gumdrop Cookie Shop, I know what it’s like “to be on the other side” and fully recognize the emotional and financial commitment involved in owning a small business.
